What’s involved with a full re roof?

  • Scaffolding to erected in line with health and safety
  • Existing roofing material to removed (tile/slate etc), sorted and kept for reuse if suitable
  • Old battens to be removed and discarded
  • New breathable felt to be laid over the roof joists
  • New tanalised battens to be installed
  • Roof covering, (slate, tile etc) to be reinstated
  • Leadwork to be replaced
  • Ridge or hip tiles to be bedded and repointed
  • Your property will remain watertight throughout with as little disruption as possible
